First and foremost when looking for plasma TV deals is to make sure that it is a deal. After all, if the TV doesn’t have the feature set that you’re looking for, you won’t be happy with your purchase, no matter how great the deal was. • What level of HD do you need? Currently, the highest level of HD is 1080p. The next level down is 720p, which has a very nice display as well. You can definitely save some money if you only need 720.
• How many inputs do you need? And more importantly, how many HDMI inputs? • Input control placement – is it convenient? Having input controls on the sides or front of the TV makes it that much easier to swap out devices without having to crawl behind the set.
• What is the screen refresh rate? This is a very important feature to get right if you are an avid gamer. The screen refresh rate will determine if there are any fast action ghosting issues in games. The faster the refresh rate on the TV, the less likely you’ll experience any issues.
• What are the dimensions and weight? If you’re planning on using a wall mount or TV ceiling mount, you’ll want to make sure to match the specs of the TV to the mount you’ll be using.

The only thing left to do is decide whether you’ll want to buy locally so that you can see the TV display before you buy it, or to get it online to possibly avoid local sales taxes. Either way, you should be able to find great plasma TV deals.
